Dadi & MOM : Olden Days

In those olden days when moms arrival from mumbai was a huge affair.just before marriage mom was guest to UTU's House in Manipal.She was gifted the company of one of dad's sisters(RAA).Aunt recalls dressing up with her into new attires and going for a walk .At one particular instance mom wanted to go to the parlour for the usuals.She told this with her companion(RAA) who readily agreed out of curiosity.The same day Dad,dadi and sisters(AT) headed to the jewellery store to buy ornaments for the wedding.Mom along with RAA got down in the bus stand and headed to the nearby parlour.As they headed out ,dad,dadi and AT were standing across the lane.The jewellery store was in the adjacent building.neither mom nor her companion were aware that dad has already seen them as he was the one facing that side.Dadi and AT were busy with discussing what to purchase.Dad was in awe as he saw mom striding along busy chit chatting with RAA .He literally covered his mouth with his hand looking between his mom and my mom.Finally one of dads sister recognised mom and called on to her.MOM and RAA almost collapsed as they were deciding between running away and confronting dad and dadi.Dad was trying to cover up things,finally mom put ina "aspirin" reply to her current whereabouts.Dadi met mom the first time there.After a few quick exchanges dadi suggested mom buy her own ornaments and they headed along..
